Before I get started we did not know how to save a shot early in our TGC2019 days but since then we have learned (please look at the posts in Guidance folder) Had we know then what we know now we would have been able to save this shot.
What I have learned since that is that when you play with a ghost - the ghost shots are different than the original game they played (the score is the same but the shots are different) - I was playing with Bob the day he got that HIO so I knew it was on the 9th hole, so I went back and played the course again with Bob's ghost hoping to be able to save his first HIO - But something strange happened - watch the video - you will see the pin for my shot is different than the pin for the HIO shot - then watch Bob's shot it is straight at the pin but goes past but keep watching the ball disappears, so this tells me that the first time he played the ball went in - and I have also posted the score card to prove it. (interesting stuff here)
