With "Swing Timing ON" I can't compete. I can't hit a straight shot and I've tried everything, even closing my eyes to swing
Turn "Swing Timing OFF and I can hit most of my shots ok ... Most!
My setting > Having it off it's just like hitting it on rails Randy. Your swing is locked in in a perfect swing path just like when using a swing trainer at home. I'm sorry, but that and the powerbar should always be forbidden in tournament play. You'll have to go back to the basics, maybe Amateur level or even beginner? Maybe that is an option for the Goats?: to have a lower level tournament also, for players who need more experience a/o time to get a better swing? That would be fine with me, but setting the level at pro counts me out of the pro society I guess. I mean, I like a challenge, but I also like having fun doing it.

As far as i can see, the setting 'shot set up feedback' in 'Display & Hud' should be set to off, together with the 'Distance control meter' and the 'distance control assist' in the Difficulty Settings set to 'off' to have no powerbar pop up.
These are my difficulty settings: Swing Difficulty: Pro Swing Timing: On Distance Control Meter: Off Distance Control Assist: Off Putt Preview: 0 Course Yardage: On Pro Vision: All off except 'true shot' and 'aim only'* Scout Camera: On Lie Grid: On Green Grid: On Pin Preference: Out Aim Marker: On Wind Display: On, wind speed Distance Display: Carry
*) i can play without them now but for casual rounds i keep these on

Simon, can Pin Preference be set to "open".. I'm like Charles and prefer the pin out.
